My random, desktop image of the day is from our trip to New York a few summers ago. I tried to find out information on this sarcophagus online, and I hit the jackpot. Here it was before coming out of the ground over 110 years ago after laying there for 2,500 years!
Today’s panorama of Manhattan is a photomerge of about 10 images. I didn’t intend for this to happen, nor did I notice it until I returned home from New York and looked through some of my photos, but the lady in the foreground on the far left moved between the time I took the first picture and the last pic so that she appears on both ends (in the background on the right) of this panorama! This photomerge covers nearly 300 degrees of mostly Central Park.
