Ted Aguilar of Death Angel @ Getaway Rock Festival 2011
Death Angel isn’t coming to Southern Oregon so I’m thinking I may drive down (3+ hours) to Chico to see them. Crazy? Probably, but I’ve gone much farther to see them before (12+ hours each way in 1987, from Copenhagen, Denmark to Gavle, Sweden in 2011, and almost 5 hours each way in 2012). To not go see them when they are “only” less than 4 hours away seems almost wrong.

It’s February, and that means spring training for MLB will begin soon. Boston will seek to defend their title, but the Yankees have spent a fortune this off season to try and stop them.
The guy who hit the ball that was caught, above, Kelly Johnson, is now a Yankee. I was actually hoping this hit had turned into a home run as Johnson was on my fantasy team at the time.

Myrdal, Norway
I don’t think Myrdal is an actual town. Instead, it’s a place to change trains from the Bergen-Oslo Line to the Flam Railway Line which takes people down from this location to the fjords. I’m guessing most places people go to merely to change trains aren’t quite this beautiful.
