It was fun while it lasted. Some high winds a few nights ago took care of most of the remaining leaves of 2022 in Ashland.
Today’s photo was taken on October 17, 2021 so, assuming things are similar this year, now is a great time to go hike the Upper Rogue River Trail section of the Rogue River (park at Woodruff Bridge and head south) for fall colors.

Fall came early this year as it hasn’t looked like this for over two weeks, maybe three.
New SOU students are on campus, with returning students arriving over the next couple days. The Raider Family Barbecue happens at the stadium at 12:15 today. Unfortunately, all of the athletic teams are on the road this weekend.
We took a little trip this time of year last year, and that is where today’s photo comes from. This pic was taken near Toketee Falls.
