Big Ashland Dog
I took today’s photo at the AHS baseball game a couple weeks ago. You can’t really tell how large this dog is from the photo, but those are full grown adults near him. The dog stands about 4 feet high or more whether he is sitting or standing. I thought he needed a saddle.
#24 Christian Jones of the Oregon Ducks
The University of Oregon did not do as well as Oregon State in the 2013 College World Series. Even though they had a #1 seed (and hence hosted the games in the Regionals), their 3-2 record was not better than Rice’s 3-1 so the #2 seeded Owls advanced, and the Ducks were eliminated last night. The Ducks finished the season with 48 wins, the most in their history.

Today was the second, annual Women’s Rugby, Prom Dress Style in Ashland. I have maybe fifty decent photos that I’ll be posting, most over the summer when I’m out of town. For now, I’ll start you off with these four.
What began like this …
… evolved into the gap being closed like this …
… and finally this (which would have been a great shot had the official not been in the way).
Between innings at the OSU vs. UofO game a couple weekends ago, the cameraman turned the TV camera from the field to the stands to capture this baby. The dad thought it would be a good idea to take the bottle from the baby and then bring the bottle to the camera’s direction. This was the result.

Southern Oregon University Dogwood blossoms
Like all of the other flowering plants and trees this year, the dogwoods in front of Central Hall blossomed early. Today’s photo is from late April, and the dogwoods don’t normally look like this until May 10 or so. They are long gone now.
