Today’s photo of the American Flag comes from an unlikely location–the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. I’m not sure if the holder of the flag came all the way from the USA (like I did) or if they were just waving it in support of the American band Mastodon (who were about to hit the stage).

There will be no European rock festivals for me this summer. I’ll be in Korea, and I’m pretty sure that means I’ll be concert free unfortunately. Maybe next summer I’ll make it back to Denmark for the Roskilde Festival. This year’s Rosklide Festival lineup didn’t have any “must see” acts for me, although I wouldn’t have minded seeing Volbeat, Kreator (again), and Suicidal Tendencies.
It was nearly 3 a.m. when I took today’s photo. Less than a half hour before I was enjoying one of Ghost’s first major performances at the Roskilde Festival. Six or seven hours after this pic I was back on the train going in the opposite direction from Copenhagen (København) to Aarhus.

Today’s wallpaper comes from inside Rosenborg Castle. The more than 400-year old castle in Copenhagen, Denmark is pretty cool inside and out from any angle.
