Five years ago today…
Nothing is more cheery than Japanese cherry blossoms this time of year, nothing that is except sakura AND a couple dozen kindergartners.

On my way to Rock Bar Scum I couldn’t help but notice this famous landmark of the Sakae (栄) area of Nagoya.

Today’s photo shows a better look at the previously described mullet / mohawk of Slyly (スラィリー). The smiles on the fans’ faces are the best parts of this image though.
Rain delay
Trapped under a shrine in Okunoin (奥の院)
Today’s photo is what happens when you are walking around Koyasan and rain begins to fall heavily. I took refuge under the only shelter nearby which was this small shrine. I took photos while I waited for the rain to subside. I could see sun so I figured it wouldn’t last long. You can’t really see the rain in this photo, but here is a photo I took less than a minute later in the other direction.
