Antioch Baptist Church on the grounds of the Whitney Plantation (Louisiana)
This building was built by the founding members of Antioch in 1870, all of whom were Freedpeople. The First Community Antioch Baptist Church donated this original building to the Whitney Plantation before the museum’s opening.
