Like everything else in the world, the annual three-day event at The Gorge in Washington featuring the Dave Matthews Band has been cancelled. I go about every other year, and this was a year I had planned on going. Alas, like all of my other plans, this is not going to happen.

The Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge Amphitheatre for Labor Day weekend is a tradition going back many years. I’ve been to two of the last three years. Alas, I will not be there in a week for the 2019 edition. Hopefully, I’ll get back for 2020.

Another Labor Day weekend at The Gorge with the Dave Matthews Band and the most wonderful group of campers a person can ask for is in the books. I’ve been back home for less than 12 hours, and I already miss it and everyone.

I’m guessing this painting is hanging on someone’s wall. People probably look at it and think the sky was overdone by the artists, but this photo shows that the sky in the painting is spot on.
