Along with Hell’s Belles, Zepparella also played at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene this past Saturday night.
While in Eugene, I attended the Hell’s Belles and Zepparella show at the historic McDonald Theatre. There was no photo pit which made photography a challenge even with my photo pass. I’ll post some more photos from the show of Hell’s Belles here.
I headed up Dead Indian Memorial Road to Buck Prairie yesterday. The clouds were thick, but for a few minutes on the trail, there was a bit of blue when I took today’s photo. This panorama is actually 9 vertical pictures stitched together into a horizontal landscape. I was trying out my new snowshoes, but most people out yesterday were on cross country skis as you can see from the tracks in the snow.
A few nights ago we watched The Towering Inferno for the first time, primarily because we had visited the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco last month where part of the movie was filmed.
The giant sculpture in the center of the enormous atrium of the Hyatt Regency is called Eclipse (to the right of center in the above photo) and can be seen in The Towering Inferno movie as well since the movie was made (or at least released) in 1974 and Eclipse was installed in 1973.

Last night (December 14, 2012) was the previously mentioned show featuring Lamb of God, In Flames, Hellyeah, and Sylosis at the Medford Armory.
