Sunday morning I went to a few locations in the morning to take some photos while the sun was still low in the sky. The Ashland Cemetery is such a lovely place, especially this time of year.

I had breakfast at Ruby’s a few days ago, followed by a walk through Ruby’s neighborhood.
This is one of my favorite houses in town. There are so many details on this house and the property that you can stare at it for hours and still discover new things. Maybe I’ll show you some different angles in future entries. I wanted to get today’s posted while we are still in the Halloween season.
Sunrise over Mt. Shasta from Mt. Ashland
Last weekend the conditions were right for an early morning trip up Mt. Ashland. The snow on Mt. Ashland had melted, I figured there would still be snow left on Mt. Shasta, the skies were mostly clear, and I couldn’t sleep. There was also a nice halo around the moon so I hopped in the car and drove on up for an early morning adventure.
When students came back to campus at Southern Oregon University this fall they noticed that garbage cans had multiplied from one at a location to at least three to allow for recycling. This new art exhibit on Raider Way, through the center of campus, has taken that one step further. The recycling of prosthetic limbs seems to be making some headway.
