The SOU softball team’s Spring “Break” consists of six games. They were supposed to play two today in Eugene, but those were rained out. They will play two tomorrow in Klamath Falls. Friday and Saturday will feature doubleheaders in Ashland. I’m on my way to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for my Spring Break so I won’t see any of these games.
Grizzly Peak is brown for most of the year. Occasionally it will be white on top, and sometimes it is green on the side. However, an unusually warm winter and early spring, coupled with above average rain, has led to it being greener this March than at any other time I can remember.
The blossoms are all gone now, but last week (during a shower) they looked like they do in today’s photo.
Ten years ago this tree looked like this.
Now the little girl that was under that tree in 2005 drives the blossom-covered car pictured under this same tree.
