I’m 90-something percent sure that I will be back for 2018 Copenhell. No bands have been announced yet. I wish Baroness could be there again, but Copenhell doesn’t invite the same band in back-to-back years. Hopefully, as far as the lineup goes, the headliners are better in 2018. Slayer and System of a Down were great, but Prophets of Rage, Five Finger Death Punch, and Rob Zombie are not my cup of tea.
If I could pick three headliners for 2018 they would be: Iron Maiden, Rammstein, and Mastodon. Other bands I’d love to see at 2018 Copenhell, in no particular order, include: Aosoth, Diamond Head, Nervosa, UFOMAMMUT, Exodus, Devin Townsend, Possessed, SUMAC, Enslaved, Kreator, Watain, Accept, King Diamond, Yob, Death Angel, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Pentagram, Satyricon, KAMPFAR, Cradle of Filth, Russian Circles, Wolves in the Throne Room, Coroner, Sodom, Neurosis, and Swans. Exceptions to the “no consecutive years rule” are occasionally made for local bands. If so, please have Slægt play again.
