Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace features more than just the guards wearing the tall, bearskin, fur hats. These men with black berets and bayonets came from the Prince of Wales Royal Regiment.

A couple days ago we headed out early to catch the “Changing of the Guard” at Buckingham Palace. Turns out we weren’t nearly early enough for much of a view of anything. However, as things were breaking up at noon we happened to be crossing the street toward St. James’s Park when today’s scene unfolded before us.
