Rocky Point Trail fox

While walking along the Rocky Point Trail in Glacier National Park we encountered a fox walking the trail in the opposite direction. The fox went around us, and then got right back on the trail and continued on its way. The fox didn’t think twice about us, but the fox’s appearance was rather magical for us (even though we sometimes see them in our hometown).

Glacier National Park

Just a random shot from out the window as we were driving on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. I believe we were approaching Logan Pass at this point.

Saint Mary Lake (Glacier National Park)

Located on the opposite side of the Continental Divide as Lake McDonald, you don’t have to look into the distance to see the Rocky Mountains when gazing at Saint Mary Lake. We saw a moose and a grizzly bear in the lake.
