This seems like too much fun to pass up. If they were playing with two bands I hated I could probably skip this, but I really want to see Gojira, and even though I’m not familiar with Kverlertak, they can’t be bad coming from Norway, right? So next week I may be making the trek to Portland (4/29/14) to hang out with the Mastodon boys and experience their amazingness yet again.

While strolling through Aarhus in early July of 2011 I found myself in the middle of a race. The runners had already swam a couple kilometers in the bay and bicycled for 90 kilometers around the hills and suburbs of Aarhus before embarking on this half marathon. At this point in the half marathon the runners ran up hundreds of stairs before running through the museum and out the other side!
Born on this day 145 years ago (April 11, 1869), Gustav Vigeland created the numerous sculptures that can be found in Oslo’s wonderful Frognerparken.
