View of the west from above Mount Shasta
A while back I posted a photo of Mt. Shasta from the air on my way back to Ashland from Oakland, California in a private plane. Today’s photo is of the view out my right-side, passenger window on the way down to Oakland.

I’m not sure if they will continue this tradition in the new Gwangju baseball stadium, but in the old stadium if a player hit a home run in which the ball hit the car beyond the stands in left field the player was awarded the car after the game. I was at one such game when Na Ji-Wan (나지완) hit the car. I asked the guy next to me if the car given to the player came with or without the dent, and he laughed.

Today’s photo has nothing to do with the subject line (other than the fact that the A’s were involved), but that is only because I didn’t have a camera when I went to the A’s game on October 15, 1981 and Krazy George started the first wave. I was only 12 years old at the time, but I remember that game well.
