Aspen Meadow (Bend, Oregon)

Probably the least photogenic time of year for these aspens, but this was a lovely place. We started our walk near Dillon Falls and turned around near the “Aspen Day Use Area”.

Wallace, Idaho

Should you ever find yourself on Highway 90 in the Idaho Panhandle, get off the freeway and take a look at this town. Every building in downtown Wallace is on the National Register of Historic Places–every one! I don’t think any other place can say the same. The on and off-ramps to Wallace appear to be some sort of time portals.

Goat Lick Overlook near Essex, Montana

Probably not very high on the list of things to see for those visiting Glacier National Park, Goat Lick Overlook (actually outside the park itself) was near our lodgings so we gave it a look.
