The Ashland High School baseball team has now won 13 in a row after today’s 7-2 win over Phoenix. Nick Sanderson had two hits (including a home run over the fence), two runs, and three RBIs. A game in Grants Pass is next on Thursday, followed by a home game against Henley on Saturday at noon.

I’ll never understand the OSAA ranking system. The Ashland High School baseball team (previously ranked #1 in 5A) extended its winning streak to 12 straight games by winning both games of today’s doubleheader in dominating fashion. Meanwhile, #2 ranked Bend lost two of their three games this week (to a 4A team no less), but they move up in the rankings to #1 above Ashland.
@SOURaiders The Southern Oregon University Softball Team is in the midst of a doubleheader with Concordia, but the results will not matter as the Raiders clinched a playoff spot with Corban’s win this afternoon over NCU. SOU will likely have a road game for the first round of the playoffs in Klamath Falls.

@ahs_baseball …but first they must get win #11. It’s a doubleheader at North Mountain Park vs. North Valley (Grants Pass). First game starts at noon.

@SOULACROSSE Southern Oregon University (11-3) finished the regular season with a loss to undefeated and #7 ranked Western Oregon University (pictured above). Today they enter the playoffs as a favorite against Puget Sound. Game time is 1 p.m. in Ashland.
@SOURaiders The Southern Oregon University softball team won their first game today, 4-1 over Northwest University. They have three games to play and Northwest Christian has two left. Any combination of two Raider wins and/or NCU losses will put the Raiders in the postseason.
