Smyril Line ferry to the Faroe Islands from Denmark (July 2021)

Today’s photo was taken on my trip from Hirtshals, Denmark to Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. I have no desire to be on a boat for over 30 hours straight again, but it was an interesting adventure in hindsight.

Lille Langebro (Copenhagen, Denmark – June 2019)

Today’s photo is of a pedestrian/bike bridge in Copenhagen just a few days before its grand opening in 2019. When I was staying at Wakeup Copenhagen in the summer of 2021, I used this bridge many times, but I haven’t seen it in this open position (for ships to get through) since the day of this photo. How often do they open it now? I have no idea.
