The Nikon 85mm f/1.8G AF-S FX Nikkor Lens is a must-have lens. I use it more than any other. If you have a Nikon DSLR, and don’t have this lens, you are missing out. For photos I’ve taken with this lens click here and here. Besides the fabulous image quality, this lens is small, light, and the autofocus is super fast. I’m not sure how much longer this sale is going to last, but this is a great deal.

Previously I only used the .jpg files from my camera. Then I began shooting in RAW for difficult lighting situations. Slowly I’ve come to the point where I only shoot in RAW. Perhaps today’s comparisons can give you an idea as to why.

On our way home from Portland to Ashland today, the other members of my car wanted to go shopping. They dropped me off at this game while they headed to the mall. The game didn’t last long as Stanford beat #7 Oregon three straight.
Nikon D600
As mentioned previously, I have purchased a Nikon D750 and no longer need my D600. It works perfectly, includes everything that came with it new, and can be yours for $1,100–about half the price I paid for it less than two years ago and about $400 less than refurbished D610s cost. It has a brand new D610 shutter with zero actuations and a clean bill of health from Nikon.
