At Metal Magic XI I was chatting with a Danish guy, and the discussion turned to Metal Magic IX with Uli Jon Roth. The Danish guy said something like, “listening to Uli Jon Roth is like having someone make love to your ear canal” to which I cannot disagree.

Even though I said I saw Ozzy one last time, there is a chance I may see Ozzy one more time, in a couple months in California. I may even be able to meet him and Zakk. No sense counting chickens (or bats) before their heads have been bitten off.

Before this evening, almost a month ago, Watain were among the top five bands I wanted to see live that I hadn’t. The evening was spectacular, and the drumstick thrown out at the end of the performance (2 something a.m.) landed in my own very hands. Thank you Jesus. More photos of Watain to come…
