Starlin Castro won the Rookie of the Year Award way back in 2010 when he was just 20 years old. Today he is turning 32. Major leaguers usually peak at about 27. Starlin’s best year was in 2017 so he fit the bill pretty well.

In the years in which I head over to Europe for the summer, I like to check out two or three new places. In 2019, Saint Petersburg was one of those places. In 2022, Ukraine was on the list. However, I don’t think I’m going to Europe this summer, and Ukraine is obviously off the table after the Russian invasion.
I saw some really creepy things while in Russia a few years ago, so this week’s events in Ukraine aren’t really surprising. Humanity is still a long way from enlightenment.
