This summer was supposed to be the ultimate concert/festival summer, with me seeing hundreds of bands in many countries (after a year of no concerts and festivals). Alas, that vision has been trimmed down considerably (thanks to the cancelation of Copenhell, Tons of Rock, Roskilde Festival, MetalDays, and Brutal Assault) to dozens of bands in a few countries. I can’t complain, since if I were to stay in the States I’d probably only be able to catch a few local bands.
Although Manticora hasn’t announced any shows that I will be able to attend, I will be seeing many (mostly?) Danish bands this year. I’m down to three mini-festivals (Metal Magic, G! Festival, and Josefstadt) and a few other shows in smaller venues in Denmark and Poland.
UK in 2021?

I haven’t been to the UK since 2016, when today’s photo was taken. Getting into the UK, without a quarantine, right now is not easy. However, I can get a direct flight from the Faroe Islands (where I will be in July) to Edinburgh, Scotland and not have to quarantine at all since the Faroe Islands are a “green country” so there is a good chance I will find myself in Scotland for the first time this summer.
