I previously mentioned how getting up early is the only way to avoid crowds in parts of Prague. Another advantage is good light.
After taking this photo (before 7 a.m.) I headed back to my Airbnb for a morning nap. I didn’t miss any outdoor exploring as the rain fell rather hard and furious for a few hours.
The over 600-year old Charles Bridge will undergo repairs beginning in late 2019. They say the repair work won’t affect the view, but you never know. Repairs won’t be completed until after my lifetime is over (in the 2040s).
We just got back from two nights at our friends’ ranch. We were planning on staying three nights, but winter storm warnings for tomorrow caused us to leave a day early.
I got up before the sun this morning to take some photos. The temperature outside was a balmy 15 degrees Fahrenheit. The ponds on the property were all frozen over. The kids went ice skating later in the day.
The white dot under the moon in this photo is Jupiter. The sun made its appearance about 15 minutes later.
Today was our first day in Mexico (and my kids’ first day ever in Mexico). But I’m too tired to process any photos from today. Instead, here is a photo I processed in LAX today. This was just before the last time I left for Mexico from Colorado. I was waiting for the airport shuttle outside my hotel when I took this, and the sunrise looked pretty good behind this church.
This past Thursday I headed down I-5 with a friend with the destination being the San Francisco Bay Area to see AC/DC at AT&T Park. Things began with the sunrise in today’s photo.
