Colorful path
I took today’s photo back in November on my then brand-new deck. With the fallen Japanese maple leaves I couldn’t really see the deck though.

The interior of the McCall House takes you back in time just like the exterior.
I have always been a fan Northwest Pizza & Pasta Co. in Ashland. They have some of the best pizza in town (behind Martolli’s and Standing Stone but ahead of Great American and Giseppi’s in my opinion). There are new owners who have recently remodeled the place and changed the lunch special (no more salad bar but the lunch special still includes a salad). The pizza hasn’t changed much.
No more ordering at a counter. They have a couple of new, big-screen TVs too.
I spotted this 100+ year old pamphlet in the Ashland Artisan Emporium, a rather interesting place of business in the Ashland Shopping Center (where DJ’s Video used to be).
A much larger, and cleaned-up, version of the photo on this brochure can be seen in Larks. I don’t think there is an Upper Falls in Ashland Creek anymore. (Correct me if I’m wrong.) Is this where the reservoir is now?
