The Albergo Milano breakfast was lovely, and the view wasn’t too shabby either. The apricots didn’t look like they’d be the best I’d ever tasted, but they were.
Lighter than the 70-200mm f/2.8G but at 500mm? Yes please. I’m looking forward to trying this for outdoor sports and wildlife.

On the second day of this year’s Labor Dave Weekend some in my camping group discovered that you upgrade regular tickets to reserved lawn seats next to the sound board. I did on day three. Along with the better seat, the upgrade includes admission into the Cliff House. The Cliff House (stage right, house left) was awesome for a number of reasons. You can chill on leather chairs or couches (in the shade) instead of sitting on the grass/rocks elsewhere in the hot sun while waiting. No lines for food, drinks, and restrooms (with flush toilets!). Best of all was the unobstructed view at sunset, pictured above.
