200+ years in the making
2024 marked my sixth visit to Fredericia. On my first four visits about the only thing I saw outside of the Metal Magic Festival was the train station and Den Historiske Miniby. In 2021 I saw a bit more of the place, including Ă˜sterstrand. 2024 was the first time I had an entire day free in Fredericia to explore. The above is one of the places I took in while on a bike ride. The first Axeltorv (originally called Kongens Torv) took over 200 years to complete. This market square has since been in continual use (although not on the day I took this photo obviously) for over 125 years.
