Ghost had played fewer than 25 shows when this photo was taken. “Opus Eponymous” had been out for about half a year.
As soon as someone invents a time machine, I’ll go back to this day at the Roskilde Festival. Check out the lineup:
The night before was Iron Maiden on the Orange Stage. A rare Portishead appearance, Swans, Kylesa, Mastodon, etc. They don’t make Roskilde Festivals like this anymore.
On the base of the Frogner Park Fountain (Frognerparken Fontenen), you can find the above. Nothing says “family day at the park” like death reliefs.
