I had a wonderful four days in Sweden. My plane back to Copenhagen was delayed, and I didn’t arrive at my apartment until about 2 a.m. this morning. Today I’m back to work. No more festivals for me in Europe, but I will see Marillion in Berlin this coming weekend (Nervosa, too, on a different night).
I have almost 2,000 photos to go through. These are the first two I pulled up.
I didn’t have class today so I went for a bike ride. First stop was Grundtvig’s Church. The sky was overcast when I left my place in Valby, but by the time I arrive blue sky was beginning to appear. This made my exterior photos much better.
I would love to hear some music in this place. Unfortunately, the night-time concerts seem to be on break until August, and the day-time music is on Wednesday when I’m teaching.
Should you ever be biking to this church, I recommend approaching from the west, through the cemetery. It’s much more spectacular than from the south, which is how I arrived.
Today’s photo comes from Thanksgiving Day in 2015 when we spent the night at a friend’s cottage in Yachats.

…this happened.
I visited Dragør in 2016 for the second time. The weather was fantastic, and my love for this little town grew. More photos to come.
