Ozzy @ 2018 Copenhell

The Prince of Darkness didn’t quite make it 77 years. He died on July 22, 2025.

Ozzy was my fourth concert ever. I was 15 years old. “Bark at the Moon” had just come out.

After walking the beach in Nehalem Bay State Park for a mile or so, we had the option of retracing our footsteps on the beach or heading inland a bit to the sand dunes and forests back to our car. We chose the latter in the hopes of seeing an elk or two. We ended up seeing about a dozen of them.
