@MetalMagicDK #goblin #FIN #deathhammer #maidenaalborg
I was curious to see Deathhammer, as Sergeant Salsten, pictured above, seemed more than a bit crazy at the performances of others. When he hit the stage I thought he looked like Woody Harrelson had fallen asleep in the sun for about a month or two, and then someone had woken him up by giving him too much speed. During the first song I thought he was going to fall into the audience at times (like he had during the Master’s Hammer show the night before). He didn’t, but his wild and aggressive behavior was over the top. After the first song finished someone yelled out in English “Not Crazy Enough!”. I couldn’t stop laughing.
An amazing amount, and quality, of sound came from these two members of FIN from Chicago.
Rock Goddess cancelled at the last minute which was fine by me. I much preferred the fill in of Maiden Aalborg who put on an outstanding show.
@Kokkeriet
My neighbor this year is Kokkeriet, a relatively inexpensive restaurant by Michelin standards that I have yet to sample. I have been to Vesterbro Vinstue twice this year, and those bills combined were less than half the cost of one visit to Kokkeriet so that’s the main reason.
@MetalMagicDK
I have lots more photos I’ll be posting of Metal Magic XI here, including more from day one, but here are some from day two.
@dominic138 @mogwaiband #rf18 @orangefeeling
I’m not sure why, as he’s from Scotland, but Dominic Aitchison of Mogwai was wearing an A’s cap at the 2018 Roskilde Festival. I love Mogwai anyway, but now I love them more.
