Prague Astronomical Clock

First installed in 1410, the clock has had features added over the centuries, and there was a time it wasn’t operating (1945 until 1948–thanks Nazis). The last renovation took place after I took this photo in 2017. The renovations on the Old Town Tower (and clock) were completed a few months ago. There is a chance I’ll get to see it again in summer of 2019.

Here’s a video of the super cool show that happened at the 600th anniversary in 2010. Don’t get bored by the first 10 or 20 seconds as it gets better and better…

The largest train station in all of Europe (by volume), Milan Central includes a waiting room (not accessible to the public) with swastikas on the floor designed to receive Hitler.
