2017 Berlin Gay Pride Parade

One year ago today I found myself in the thick of Berlin’s gay pride parade on Christopher Street Day. I didn’t intend to go to Berlin for a gay pride festival; nor did I intend my AirBNB to be in the center of the gay quarter of Berlin. However, it ended up being a fun neighborhood and memorable experience.

This year’s CSD falls on July 28. I suppose it’s always on a Saturday near the end of July.

Apparently this river in Iceland is loaded with salmon just before the Faxi waterfall. I didn’t jump in to find out, but this guy did.
