Tickets will sell out in the next 48 hours so get yours quick if you haven’t already.
With two or three stages going at once, there are some bands, that I’d really like to see, that I will have to miss all or part of their set. Those include: Meshuggah, Coven, Heilung, and Taake.
I’m torn on whether to see Zuriaake or Entropia. Also, Anthrax, Kampfar, and Windhand are at the same time so it looks like I’ll be missing Anthrax yet again. Cult of Luna or Kadavar? Rotting Christ, Tankard, or Antaeus???

Sometimes when you see a band that you know you will be seeing again soon, even if you enjoy their performance, you think, “I don’t really need to see them again so soon.” Such was not the case after seeing Slægt at 2019 Copenhell. Instead, I’m very excited to see them again–at Metal Magic in about 10 days and at Brutal Assault in August.

This video is pretty cool, although the sound quality is not good, especially for the music.
The next photo is from Morten Skovgaard. Yours truly is sporting the backwards A’s cap in the bottom of this photo.

@VOLBEAT @UMG @Anthrax @magtens
I was going to get a photo pass for Volbeat and Anthrax tonight in Aarhus, Denmark, but things didn’t work out again (a similar thing happened when Anthrax came to Ashland). I will see Anthrax, with a photo pass, at Brutal Assault Festival in August. But no Volbeat in Denmark which I thought would be cool.
Instead I’ll be heading to Rudersdal, Denmark to catch a professional American football game there featuring Isiah Carter. Go Oaks!
Látrabjarg, Iceland is not easy to get to. The drive is beautiful, but the road is pretty bad, at times, and by the time I arrived I wasn’t feeling so hot. Winds were crazy strong, maybe varying between 20 and 50 MPH. Everyone wanted to see the puffins, and other birds, but it was very dangerous as the wind was blowing in the direction of blasting people off the cliff. To get anywhere near the edge you had to crawl on your hands and knees. Even then you couldn’t see any puffins, but you could see thousands of other birds.
Most people gave up on the puffins and headed back to their cars. I sat down on a spot no one was around and just soaked it all in for a while. Then this little guy or gal showed up. Not far from me, this puffin put on a show like a paid model. I have probably a hundred photos, each with a different pose.
