I know I should look back on my seven summers in Copenhagen with gratitude for the opportunity and countless amazing experiences, but with no current prospects of returning, I’m kind of unhappy at the moment.

(Pilsen, Czech Republic – August 2021)

The stadium covering some of this photo was previously known as Stadion města Plzně and is the home turf of FC Viktoria Plzeň. The Pilsner Urquell Brewery is behind it.

St. Nicholas Church (Tallinn, Estonia – July 2019)

This church was originally built in the 13th Century. The Russians bombed it to smithereens in 1944 (sound familiar?). The rebuilding took almost 30 years, from 1953 until 1981.

Like most other educated countries (except the ignorance-loving USA) in the world (Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, etc.), less than 20% of Estonians believe in god(s) so this building now serves as a museum.
