One of my graduating seniors wrote “School’s out fooor….EVER” on the back of her final exam yesterday. I don’t know if she knows I’m an Alice Cooper fan or not, but I got a good chuckle out it. I have an Alice Cooper $100 bill (which I caught shortly after taking today’s photo) on the wall of my office so maybe she knew.

A year ago, today’s photo happened. Next week, it will happen again. Well, not exactly. I won’t see Solstafir at Copenhell this year, but I will head to Solstafir’s homeland (Iceland) and be at Copenhell.
I put Solstafir’s new album on in the car last week. Three songs in, a couple of my friends in the car said, “Who is this? They are amazing!”
Today is the first day of the last five days that I’m not traveling to or from the San Francisco Bay Area. Today’s photo comes from Dunsmuir, California on day three. The short walk to this waterfall, just off of I-5, is a nice place for a break from driving.
