Heading around the Daytona International Speedway track at 135 MPH

This was my first attempt ever of taking a panning shot, not great, but it looks better than shots of a frozen race car going 135 MPH which may as well be of a parked car.

Yesterday’s press conference for the NAIA Championship Football Game took place here. It was a beautiful day. A $400 million renovation is currently underway at the speedway, but the construction is barely noticeable from the interior.

Daytona Beach Bandshell

Not your typical bandshell, this one is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Tonight we have a football pep rally here followed by fireworks. I can’t be in two places at once. Should I shoot from my room (which is where today’s photo came from) or from in front of the bandshell? Tough call.
