Two months ago, today, this happened… Where’s my time machine?

36 hours after taking this photo, the ex-girlfriend of one of these Amon Amarth guys gave me a ride back to Stockholm. Life can be full of surprises.

Stockholm, Sweden’s Old Town (Gamla stan) was too crowded this past Sunday afternoon. Once the rain began, the tourists cleared out, and it became a very lovely place.

The oldest building in Malmö, clocking in at nearly 700 years old, is Sankt Petri Kyrka. Some parts are “only” 600 years old.

I didn’t have my wide-angle lens with me at the time, and this place is far too large to fit into a single frame at 24mm on a crop sensor camera like my D500, so this is actually three photos merged together.

Street with the Joe Hill Museum (Gävle, Sweden)

While wandering through Gävle’s old town I came upon the Joe Hill Museum (Joe Hill-gården) from which I took today’s photo. Joe immigrated to the USA in 1902 and was executed in Salt Lake City for a crime; the museum contends he was innocent.
