Three years ago I shot a Ducks football game in Eugene. After the game I posted a photo of one of the cheerleaders. She has apparently graduated and moved to Dallas.
Gorge camping
We pulled into our campsite after dark which is a bit confusing. The only good thing about arriving at a camp in the dark is the next morning when you wake up to a surprisingly lovely view.
Dave Matthews Band @ The Gorge Amphitheatre (9/3/16)
I spent this past weekend at the annual DMB Gorge shows. This was my first time seeing Dave since the 1997 Bridge School Benefit with Neil Young. I guess I made up for those missing 20 years by seeing him three nights in a row. This was my first time at the Gorge Amphitheatre. What an amazing place!

Jake Arrieta of the Chicago Cubs
My fantasy baseball team hasn’t been so good of late. The main problem is this guy. After starting the season 11-1, Jake is 1-3 with only one quality start in his last six starts. He had 10 quality starts before the recent slump.
Today’s random, desktop background image makes me kind of excited because I took it when I was with my daughter, who I will see for the first time in almost a month in less than 48 hours. She is coming to visit me for about a week in Copenhagen.
