Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel on Mount Rainier (September 2022)

While framing Mount Rainier for a photo, this squirrel decided to jump in the frame and strike a pose before I pressed the shutter release.

Shoshone Falls (Twin Falls, Idaho – August 2022)

Today’s photo comes from the aforementioned driving break on I-84 through southern Idaho a few weeks ago. You can’t really tell from the photo, since there aren’t any people in it, but Shoshone Falls actually is a bigger drop than Niagara Falls.

Immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Minneapolis, Minnesota (August 2022)

While in Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago, we went to a trippy exhibition of Van Gogh’s work. Immersive Van Gogh is now happening in a number of cities. Set to music, and featuring lots of movement, I went in sober but would recommend a different frame of mind. Still fantastic no matter how you experience it.

There are now no fewer than six immersive Van Gogh exhibits happening. This one was the work of Massimiliano Siccardi.
