If this looks like a normal Danish town photo taken from a nearby hillside, look again. Notice the picnic table in the center. The buildings are smaller than the picnic table!

Hours after getting drenched during the Foo Fighters (and watching Cult of Luna under the Avalon big top), I headed back to the station and took this photo at 2:39 a.m. There was no other way to the tracks at this hour so I had to wade through the puddles (some of which were more than a few inches deep). When I woke, 9 or 10 hours later, I noticed that my boots looked like they had been completely papier-mâchéd.
No Roskilde Festival experience is complete without such hardships.
