1970s Japanese home in Oh Sadaharu Baseball Museum

Today’s photo comes from the Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum inside the Fukuoka Dome. This display is of a Japanese home in the late 1970s. It reminds me of many homes I visited in Japan in the 1980s.

Just 54 days until I see these Swedes again. Can’t wait! I haven’t seen them live in Sweden for 11 years.

Gullfoss revisited

Gullfoss

Three weeks from today I will arrive in Iceland. I won’t be visiting Gullfoss this time. Instead, I’ll be heading to and around Northwest Iceland, soaking in hot springs and sleeping in the back of my rental van.

2019 Copenhell Schedule / Running Order

Viking Picnic

There are several pieces of bad news that came with yesterday’s announcement of the 2019 Copenhell schedule.

Some bands I was hoping to see are playing at the same time as other bands I want to see. So I’m going to be skipping Kvelertak, Tesseract, Fiend, Belphegor, Municipal Waste, and The Psyke Project. I’m also going to have to miss parts of Glenn Hughes, Orange Goblin, and Manticora. Finally, I have a 7-hour gap on Thursday with no bands I want to see. 🙁

2019 Brutal Assault Festival

Brutal Assault has created a fun little app for concert goers to create their own poster. I couldn’t stop at just one. In fact, I could have easily come up with several more, but I restrained myself. If only you could do this for festival shirts so you didn’t end up with bands you can’t stand on your back. 😉
