I wasn’t on the top of the spire, of course, but you can see where this panorama came from by looking up from here. The Pilsner Urquell Brewery can be seen in the background on the left.

Also, it’s sort of odd the “City of a Hundred Spires” (Prague) doesn’t have the tallest spire in the country.

A Danish friend invited me to this show. I had never heard of Gasbox, Gasolin’, or Kim Larsen before, and I’m pretty sure I was the only one in the crowd who could say those three things as all of the local Danes were singing along like they were the Beatles or something. (According to Wikipedia, Gasolin’ was the most popular band in Denmark in the 1970s.)

Apparently, Gasbox won “Denmark’s Got Talent” prior to this appearance.
